Underhill Farm Purchases Alpine Farms in Medina, Minnesota!

Underhill Farm merged with Alpine Farms on November 19, 2008. Alpine Farms is located in Medina, Minnesota - the heart of horse country. Steeped in tradition, Alpine Farms is a gathering place for equine enthusiasts, hosting several Hunter/Jumper and Dressage Shows each year, several international clinicians, Breakfast with the Hounds, and other local organization events.

Stewart Underhill Participates in Young Dressage Horse Trainers Symposium

Stewart Underhill was selected to participate in the prestigious YDHTS in 2008. This symposium's "most important goal was to locate and develop talented young horse trainers." Stewart Underhill is 1 of 16 participants selected for the 2008 YDHTS. In YDHTS's first year of conception, over 340 applicants applied and it has been growing ever since.

YDHTS participants have been successful both nationally and internationally. Five YDTHS alumni have competed at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses, including Susanne Hassler on Royal Prince, Teresa Butta on Unitas, David Blake on Lord Albert, Jessica Jo Tate on Donnermuth, and Lars Holmberg on Mix Max.

This year YDHTS took place at the Riveredge West home of Hassler Dressage in Chesapeake City, MD, November 7-9. This year's symposium included the expertise of one of Germany's most successful trainers, Ingo Pape. Underhill Farm Announces Results of 2008 USDF Region 4 and Midwest Dressage Championships

Three Underhill Farm riders placed at the 2008 GAIG/USDF Region 4 and Midwest Dressage Championships. The show was held on September 2-4 at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Mason City, IA.

Congratulations to Shelley Gannon aboard Figaro Newton - our Midwest Training Level Amateur Reserve Champion. Stewart Underhill and Highlander won Midwest Reserve Champion at Training Level Open and Third in GAIG/USDF First Level Open. Highlander is owned by Dr. Jane Quandt. Robin Ryan finished 7th and 8th aboard Calibra for both the First Level Amateur Midwest and Regional Championships.

Stewart Underhill Wins CSDEA Championship!

Congratulations to Stewart Underhill for winning the CSDEA First Level Open Champion aboard McCartney HS owned by Kelly Underhill of Underhill Farm! Stewart also won First Level Reserve Champion aboard Highlander owned by Dr. Jane Quandt. The CSDEA Championship show was held at the Washington County Fairgrounds in Lake Elmo, MN on August 22-24, 2008.
